A Day In The Yard

So this is a little embarrassing for me to admit, but yesterday was only the second time that I helped Benjamin with the outside work since we bought the house a year and a half ago. This is hard for  me to admit too……I actually enjoyed it. I take a fancy towards trimming bushes. I might get a little over zealous and trim them too much, but thats okay. I like things nice and neat. So of course towards the end I had to take some pictures!!!  Enjoy! (Yes I know there a lot of pictures of the little dead tree, but I liked it. )

We gave this tree almost two years to grow something, but it failed to do so. So I decided to pull it up.
I don’t know why roots fascinate me, but they do.This is my epic yard working picture. I am sorry I didn’t have the before and after, but these are the finished products. Believe me, they look much better. Yes, this is POISON IVY!!!!!!! And I almost went to town on it, but then that phrase, “Leaves of three, let them be,” and an iPhone with google convinced me to get Benjamin to handle it.
 Yay for a clean back and front yard!!!!
