I don’t know where else to start except, what an amazingly sweet couple!!! When I met with Nikki about her hopes and dreams for their wedding, I could see the love she has for Cody shinning all over her face!! I truly love that my job is capturing those memories and the vows that a couple make to each other. Enjoy my favorites from their day! Credits are at the bottom of the post.

And I love her Madden Girl wedding shoes. It’s awesome to be cute and comfortable at the same time!Nikki’s dress is just perfect for her. I love the flowingness (BK word) at the bottom. This was Benjamin’s idea and I love it!!! He even took this shot!!Sightlers Florist did such a good job with all of the florals.I love the cute little crystals at the edges of her veil. Isn’t her ring ginormous!! Way to go Cody!!It’s always hard to figure out what to do for the guest sign in book. She used the images from our engagement session and I love it!!
I think this should be a new tradition. A bride should always have a yoohoo right before her ceremony.
Nikki decided that she wanted the first look without the looking. So they were able to get some pictures together before the ceremony and still keep it traditional. This can work if you give the photographer enough time for portraits after the ceremony, which they did!!!So sweet. Cody’s face when he sees his bride for the first time is priceless!!Nikki had both her Dad and Grand-dad walk her down the aisle. So sweet!Another favorite of mine. The church and pastor were so kind and let me use a flash and sit on the very front row. The flash really helps in low lighting ceremony locations and I was able to capture images that couples normally wouldn’t have from their wedding day, by being able to sit on the front row. Yay!!! You may now kiss the bride!!!!!Married!!! Mr. and Mrs. Carraway!!!Oh my goodness….they are so cute. This was what happened naturally right after the ceremony!!! Having your closest friends with you on your wedding day means you are going to laugh a lot!!!My hubby is my second shooter and he took this of the guys!! Isn’t he so good!!And he took this!My favorite time during a wedding day….. wedding portraits.Canvas worthy!!! Okay this one is Canvas worthy too!!!First dance is done, Cake has been cut, father daughter dance is complete, so now it’s time to party!!!I went out to the pool area for some more pictures of their rings right as the sun was setting.
I must say that having the bride walking around taking pictures too is something I have never encountered before!!They didn’t have a traditional exit, so it just kind of ended when it ended. So much fun and love. Thank you Cody and Nikki for trusting us with your big day!!! We enjoyed it so much!I love making new friends and sharing this time with the couple.
