The Hendrix Family | Family + Newborn

I had the pleasure of photographing the Hendrix family last year, when Noah was just a few months old and they were expecting little Grayson. You can see view the session here. Lyz and Stephen have two precious little boys and are such a sweet little family. While all little ones are truly a miracle from God, Grayson truly is a miracle.

“Grayson was born June 10th, 2013 at 36 weeks, except for a few breathing issues we figured he was perfectly healthy. On Saturday June 15th, 2013 we found out that our baby boy has a Vein of Galen Malformation which is extremely rare.” Lyz has this written on their Pray for Baby Grayson Facebook page. Please keep this family in your prayers and thoughts.

So all this to say, it was hard for me not to cry while taking this precious little ones newborn pictures and their family pictures. He has to wear a heart monitor at all times, so some of the pictures have those in it, but as his mom says, “It’s who he is.” I know you will fall in love with all of them and if you cry some, that’s okay. Sweet-tiny, little Paige is the cutest ball of fire!!! I took her Mommy and Daddy’s engagement pictures back when I first started the business, they were actually my very first session!! It was such a joy and privelage that I was able to capture their little bundle of joy!! Thanks to Studio 85 for the sweet little bonnet.

I put this cute little flower and ribbon together….isn’t is adorable.This little rose headband is from American girl from years ago. Such a sweet family!!!Isn’t she so precious!!I love this crown!!! I made it!! Tutorial coming soon!
So Sweet!Daddy’s little princess.I love this wrap. Jessica and Trey were so sweet to let me have it.

A Little Look Behind the Scenes

There is so much that goes into newborn photography that I never realized. When Jamie asked me to take little Lucas’s newborn shots, I was thrilled! So I began my research. I had no clue how much goes into it. I know now why people specifically go into just newborn photography. I loved it and I could easily spend more on props, little hats, blankets, etc…. So for now I will just do them every now and then.

Lucas James | Newborn

I had the honor of taking this sweet little boys parents maternity pictures in January!!!

And just a few weeks later, Lucas James came to greet us March 8, 2013 with a head full of red hair!!
